Design For Retail Mailer

To get the word out about my new MicroSite, DesignForRetail I have produced a mailer to send to local fashion retailers. The gate fold design features a small amount of introduction text on the services I offer, my new business card and folds out to reveal some examples of my work. Due to the short print run they were digitally printed by Emmerson Press in Coventry, who I would highly recommend; professional and friendly service.

New Business Cards

Been doing a bit of work on self promotion recently, shall post some images of my DesignForRetail mailer in a moment. Had a bit of a shabby, cheap set of business cards for a while so I decided it was high time do a proper job on them, results above. For those interested in the details it's full colour front and back 400gsm matt laminated both sides with spot UV highlights on the front. If you need any doing I'd recommend printing.com, they have various special offers throughout the year, these cost £99 for 1000, bargain!

Great Online Inspiration Books

Well I've spanked on about how great issuu.com is for a while but if your still not convinced and haven't signed up for your free account take a look at some of the inspiration design books from Bangkok user Hahru. He has uploaded loads of great content covering print, packaging and advertising, each one packed with innovative design works from around the globe. To see more I suggest you sign up.

Design for Retail

My new micro site, Design for Retail is now live. It's a showcase of my work aimed specifically at fashion retailers. Had a few teething problems with Internet Explorer but hopefully running fine now.
